This small but interesting museum houses memorabilia about the county from American Indian days to the present. It distributes free visitor information and sells helpful walking-tour booklets. A 15-minute presentation sets the scene for your tour of the county. Allow another 30 minutes to explore the museum and its gift shop.

With a collection of over 8,000 artifacts, we have something for everybody. In our Discovery Room, kids can dress up in per...iod costume, play in our 19th century period kitchen, and learn by doing. The museum tells the story of the tools, toys, and treasures of Loudoun County. The Discovery Room invites you to "please touch" its 19th century kitchen, activity baskets full of tools and toys, and period costumes for dress-up.
