Sergio Brida “Frank” as he is known in the neighborhood, has been the proprietor of Luigi’s since 1953 serving up some of the best pizza known to man. Many have tried a slice of pie from "competitors", but none have compared. We find that Sacramento pizza to be, for the most part, disappointing. "Go hungry and leave stuffed" at this Oak Park purveyor of "tasty", "thin, crisp" pizza that's "been in business forever" (since 1953, in fact), with "checkered tablecloths", "picnic-table seating" and "friendly, speedy service"; the Midtown spin-off may be from the 21st century, but it still evokes a "nostalgic trip down memory lane", and for fittingly "reasonable prices."

They don't like to label themselves anything, but Luigi's Slice and the recipe has passed down from generations in the family, that only they know of.
