What makes Mac McGee a standout is the house-made, rib-sticking fare, right down to the coleslaw and the mayonnaise and tartar. We found the Scotch eggs served hot with a mustard crème fraîche playing just a bit too fast and loose with tradition (they're usually served cold cut into quarters with serious mustard).
