Culver City exploded with artists and their work. But where to go after the galleries close? Some intrepid souls reopened an abandoned gay bar and turned it into arts central. Lines out the door after a big opening, otherwise low-key and friendly. Check the old-fashioned drinks like French 75s and Moscow Mules. Check the new-fashioned art on the walls and the super-ironic “no dancing” sign.
