Chef Eric Greenspan has transformed the patio of his former restaurant The Foundry into Maré, with a focus on Mediterranean seafood. Melrose Umbrella Company bar remains at the front of the space, and the entrance to Maré is through Greenspan’s Grilled Cheese.

Once diners find the entrance (through neighboring restaurant Greenspan's Grilled Cheese), it's smooth sailing at this compact, Euro-inspired seafooder with all-patio seating. Strings of white bistro lights overhead, heat lamps to keep things cozy and lush greenery add to the spot's secret garden vibe.
