Guardian Ad Litem with no sense of morals:
He was the court appointed GAL for my kids in a custody battle. Have no idea how this man sleeps at night. One side: a man with a court record of domestic violence, charges of child molestation, and lives thousands of miles from any family/friends with a live-in gf. On the other side: a woman with no record, no one ever claimed was in any way a bad mom, happily married, and lives in the same state the children have always lived with all family/friends in the same state. His evaluation? There is no reason the father shouldn't have extra time with the kids. I watched this man bribe my children to talk to him by giving them whole boxes of Gobstoppers (one child under the age of 5 at the time, mind you), and MONEY. Yes, he actually PAID my child to tell him what he wanted to hear with a dollar bill... right in front of me. I don't know if he was being paid off by my ex, or what the deal was, but I thought the whole point of a GAL was to look out for the child's best interest. That is NOT AT ALL what this jerk did.
