Horrible remodeling experience! Added 2 rooms (1000 sq. ft.) and a room onto the basement. 220 popped dryall screws (208 were fixed),constantly splitting drywall, uneven floors-new bedroom floor has a humnp down the middle and kitchen floor is bumpy and uneven because floor joists buckled and Mathis ignored the problem; his attempt to fix it made it worse; slanted wall and soffit in the kitchen, electrical outlet that blows a fuse when an appliances is plugged in, ragged bottom of a new kitchen cabinet, tag stuck on wall behind frig, 25 inch permanent penci(?) mark on new beige countertop, new ductwork leaks horribly, added a second furnace and have to have all new and some old ductwork replaced because 4 heating and cooling companies have said the furnaces are backfeeding and could blow up (Mathis refused to fix the furnace and slanted wall problems), 2 old bedrooms will not heat above 62 degrees in winter, leaking new patio doors, no new windows caulked until siding was put on and I complained, then not all were caulked; did not install insulation above new basement room until village noticed a year later. He should give a 10 yr. warranty, not 2.
