In the fall of 2002, doors opened bringing together history on this downtown corner of asylum and Trumbull streets in Hartford, Ct. The brownstone building, constructed in 1861 to house the charter Oak Bank, became home to McKinnon's. The original bank vault, complete with two multiple ton doors and encased with 18 inches of concrete and rebar, makes home to our kitchen.
