Minibar Owner Planning Fish Fry Spot, Opening Second mEAT Today:
Not only is mEAT and Minibar owner John Dalton opening the second mEAT location today, but he's also planning a fish fry and sushi spot on Halsted in Boystown. Originally, Dalton was working on a Creole restaurant for the former Arco De Cuchilleros and Tapas Gitana space, but changed course.

More mEAT Coming to La Grande Vie Space:
When La Grande Vie on Chestnut shuttered in February, word on the street was that a new operator was already zeroing in on the space. It turns out that the new operator is Minibar owner John Dalton, who's opening his second mEAT location and bringing skewers, molecular cocktails and meat puns downtown.

mEAT Comes to North Halsted Street:
The Minibar folks have brought more meat and meat-related puns to Boystown. Their new restaurant mEAT is now open on Halsted, offering a selection of skewered foods and cocktails.
