I used them a few times the past few years and was so surprised to see they have so little reviews on yelp. They are truly honest and professional locksmiths. They may not always be the cheapest (most of the time they are) but they will always deliver what you want when you want it.

First of all I’d like to say that the guys at metro local locksmith are awesome...they are by far the best NYC locksmith company i have ever dealt with. My boyfriend and i moved into a new apartment in midtown east and needed to change our locks. We’ve shopped around and got a few prices from a few Manhattan locksmith companies. Ben's quote, from metro local locksmith was about $150 cheaper than the most competitive quote we've got.
Ben came the same day installed and changed our locks and provided us with free extra copies of our new keys. i know who I’ll be calling next time I’ll need to change my locks !

I'd like to start and say I don't usually write reviews, talk-backs or blog about things, but the experience I had with Ben from metro local locksmith is worth mentioning.
the other day I locked my keys in my car, I live on the upper west side, it was during the day and I found metro local locksmith on yellowbot at the upper west side, the locksmith was probably busy and instead of waiting 20 minutes I ended up waiting almost an hour.
I called the company and they gave me 25% off for waiting that long for the guy. so at the end it was fair enough and I was really pleased with the emergency service I got. the most nice and reliable service you'll ever get (:
