Sushi & Robata Grills

Tips

Good sushi, like a spring breeze or your poorly disciplined cousin, is fresh. Chris Kinjo, chef of Galleria area eatery, MF Sushi knows this all too well. The celebrated Kinjo, who most recently helmed an Atlanta sushi eatery by the same name, is serving up nigiri boasting that elusive, recently reeled-in flavor. Fish quality is essential to MF's traditional menu which eschews Philadelphia rolls and spicy tuna for classic sashimi and sushi cooked in a kitchen with only three appliances: a copper frying pot, a small grill and rice cooker.

Sit at the sushi bar and order the chefs tasting, then prepare to taste some beautifully constructed sushi, sashimi, and whatever else chef Kinjo decides to offer. Be adventurous and don't be afraid to tell him your preferences. You'll be rewarded with one of the best sushi experiences in Houston.
