Can’t seem to schedule correctly, or keep an appointment:
Called to schedule an appointment to replace a part on my dishwasher. They told me they needed to order a part and they would call me back. A week or so later they called and told me they could schedule for an appointment window 2-6, 3-7, or 4-8 tomorrow. I told them I was not available that day, so they scheduled me for the following Wednesday. The next day i got a call from their repair person telling me he was in my area and would be at my house soon. I told him I was not available that day, and that i had scheduled for the the following wednesday. Apparently they were not able to properly schedule my appointment correctly.
Due to this scheduling mixup I called them the wednesday of my appointment to confirm my 10-2 appointment time. After being put on hold several times i received confirmation of my scheduled time. I was told verbally that because of the quick nature of my repair, i would probably be the first person visited, so to expect them between 10 and 11 am. I ended up leaving work to make it home for my appointment window and waited for the repair person. When 2:15 came along and no one called or showed up I called to check in on the status. I was told that they were running a bit behind, and they would be there by 3pm. At 5pm when no one still showed up i called again, and was told that they were behind and it would probably be 2 more hours. At 10:20 PM the service technician finally arrived to replace the part.
The technician was reasonable enough, but for a company to first tell you that the technician would most likely be there between 10 and 11 am, but show up 12 hours later is unacceptable. Even if you consider their 4 hour window for the visit, 8 hours late is disgraceful. If the company can’t maintain appointments they should let the customers know. Very unprofessional.
