The Midtown Cinema was founded in November 2001 by Allen Brown and Todd Shill. For seven years, Mr. Brown brought the most innovative independent and foreign films to Harrisburg and Central PA. In October 2008, Greenworks Development LLC bought the Cinema and continues to expand on the vision Mr. Brown started.
Midtown Cinema, a relaxed and friendly place with a fully stocked snackbar and hot, buttered popcorn, of course, shows independent, foreign language and documentary films. There are no advance and online ticket purchases. Tickets will go on sale 45 minutes before each showtime. Tickets are $6.50. Matinee tickets are $5.50 (ticket prices include 10% City amusement tax).
