Milan Banquet Hall

Milan Banquet Hall is a gorgeous new banquet hall located in Waukegan.

A great place! absolutely no complains. we are so glad we stumbled upon this place and end up having our wedding at Milan. Wife and I still talk about how interesting it was that we saw this MILAN banquet sign while driving by the day after we arrived from Italy. Of course it had to be this place! Delicious prime dinner! and our wedding cake was on the house! We wanted everything to be elegant, simple and pleasant at our wedding and Milan more than delivered.

Had my brother's engagement party at Milan Banquet and they completely ruined the event. There was some sort of construction going on inside the facility and there were tools, large equipments and supplies by the bathrooms. Our guests had hard time using the restrooms.There was strong, unpleasant smell coming from where construction was taking place. Also, tables and chairs were being set up by staff while guests were arriving. We paid for decor and sweet table and specified how we wanted things to be done when we signed contract. However, nothing was done according to our contract. The sound system and audio/visuals did not work. Staff gave us hard time when we wished to speak with the manager or owner regarding how horrible their service was. We spoke with some manager name Mike Kazmi on the phone and his response was "this is how we do things". He didn't care because we alredy paid full amount days prior to the event so he alredy made his money.

Went to checkout the theaters. They only play Bollywood (ethinic Indian) movies. I was invited to a tour of the facility. So there is a brand new and HUGE banquet hall, and then there are 2 theaters palying 2 different indian movies as well. kinda novel idea. Unlike most run down ethinic theaters I've seen, this one compares to AMC in cleanliness, screen size, and ambiance. 4 1/2 stars.
