Open Sundays noon till 8pm. I tried everything here and the food truely stand out: the Wiener schnitzel is the best one since I left Germany: wavy crust, flat, obviously fried in a pan, very tender and aromatic, just the right amount too. Every bite is like sitting at Grandmother's table. Definitely worth the trip. Great German beers on draft. Mirabell is an oasis of proud authentic German tradition, The bar is lively and friendly with lots of artifacts and atmosphere. I love this place!

The atmosphere at Mirabell is surely German --- there’s no mistaking that --- and the menu is a veritable autobahn of German specialties: paprika schnitzel, braised beef, dumplings, goulash, spätzle and sauerbraten, to name a few. Quality food and reasonable prices make it a winner.

A “neighborhood” “holdout” on the Northwest Side, this German-American “just off the Kennedy Expressway” pulls in savorers of schnitzel, goulash and bratwurst; the setting includes “murals of Salzburg”, a beer stein display and servers in traditional garb, but service can be inconsistent.

Mirabell Restaurant has been Family owned since 1977 and serves the most authentic German food anywhere! Free customer parking anywhere in the Kmart parking lot across the street till 2:00 am
