faulty nozzles and bad dealer Alamo Pool:
Had a whole house and backyard system installed. A drum based system. When it worked it was very good. However after 1 month, a faulty nozzle drained the whole tank dry. Alamo Pool, the dealer, came and replaced the nozzle but did nothing to replace the leaked insecticide ($100 ). Several months later when we started using system again, the drum again was drained after 1 day! I watched the mist the next spray and found at least 2 nozzles leaking like faucet. Called Alamo Pool, but this time they wanted $95 to come out and service! After telling them this is a recurring problem and nozzles and system are under warranty, they refused and told me to check with other Mistaway dealers.
I believe they are unhappy because we didn't use their pool service. Well we paid for a $45 one time clean trial, and they spent no more than 10 minutes at the pool, dumped a bunch of sodium hypochloride in the pool, and our pool is a saltwater pool! How could I use them when they didn't check the pH level? The owner Betania didn't bother returning phone call and email.
Our neighbor had a different system for 3 years and no problem whatsoever. We use the same liquid and spray pattern, but we are stuck with a terrible dealer and bad nozzles. Beware!
