My family has gone to them as mechanics for about ten years now. When I was looking for a car I had no problem buying a car from them because I knew them for so long. I had problems with the car from the start. The service engine soon light kept coming on. I brought it back to them numerous times over a two month period. They kept telling me my car had a leak and that was why the light was going on. After a few times taking it back and getting nowhere I brought the car to another mechanic who said the transmission was shot and my car needed a new one. I took it back to Model Garage and they allegedly put another tranny in. Now a few months later the service engine soon light is back on. I took it to an outside mechanic that said the transmission they put in is shot. I took it back to Model Garage and told them about it. They again deny that anything is wrong. I never thought my longtime mechanic would be this dishonest and sell me a piece of garbage. They do not deserve customers.
