Montauk Fire Department

The Montauk Fire District was created in 1939. It is the most eastern fire district on Long Island, and the fire department and its ambulance company covers the area from the Montauk Lighthouse to the Napeague Stretch. Strictly volunteer, the department answers more than 1,000 calls each year.
