Description

Moonshadows is the ultimate venue for that romantic date. Sit by the ocean and take in that gorgeous view of the sea, while dining on sumptuous fare. To name a few, the southern California bouillabaisse, roasted ginger marinated free range chicken, and honey-brined Niman Ranch pork chops are some of the gastronomic delights. You can head to the Blue Lounge for a few cocktails beforehand or to...

Tips

Parking:
You can self park in the small side lot, or valet in front--either way, it's $3.50. There's free street parking on the opposite side of PCH, but crossing the busy street can be dangerous.

Classy & Sassy:
This is a great place to go out on a date. The music that was playing when I went was lounge/house and the outdoor bar area was so nice with the cabanas, I was reminded of Miami. The food is great, though be prepared to pay at least $25 a plate & $12 for cocktails.

Rehabbed Malibu legend (not Cat Stevens), reborn as a chic blue oasis with Zen touches, defies '70s name. Unlike Melanie Griffith, the makeover worked. Epic ocean views and staff patient and caring enough to deal with Mel Gibson. Someone get them their own reality show already. Brings Asian eats with authority, sweaty celebrities thinking they're above anyone else's. Graze seaside on crispy...

Citysearch Editorial Review:
The sister lounge to Moonshadows restaurant offers a pseudo-party atmosphere for guests whose plates of Dungeness crab ravioli and steamed clams make them want to take a spin on the dance floor...
