If I told you a 2002 syrah I once sampled here tasted of cherry cough syrup, you might think that was a bad thing. However, as a kid, I loved cherry cough syrup, and I love these syrahs even more. They're big fruit-driven wines with, unfortunately, big prices. This winery also produces nebbiolo- and barolo-style wines, as well as barbaresco.

Morrison Lane is a family owned and operated Estate Winery. In addition to making estate wines, Morrison Lane Vineyard has supplied fruit to local wineries since 1997. Their tasting room features Northwest Jazz and blues musicians. During January and February, the tasting room is open by appointment only. Their regular hours are Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday holidays from noon to 6 p.m.
