Editorial Reviews

This fish market and casual eatery, located across from the South End's dramatic Cathedral of the Holy Cross, first dropped anchor in 1903 and still purveys supremely fresh seafood at fair prices; the decor may be no-frills (a deep-sea fishing mural is the lone highlight), but it's the live lobster and locally caught bluefish, swordfish and other fin specialties that lure loyalists.

Fried fish is featured here but there are plenty of other options as well. Among the menu choices you will find fish cakes, clams, cocktail shrimp, fresh oysters, scallops, haddock, bluefish, salmon and...
