This uber-charming, old-fashioned ice cream shop in Sierra Madre is well worth the trip. The cold creamy stuff is made with organic ingredients and if you cannot taste the difference, you should turn in your ice cream eating badge. The flavors are so retro, but nicely updated. For instance, the butterscotch is a made with slow-cooked sugar until it turns all caramel-esque. Bonus points for the housemade jams and the flashback knickknacks in this snug spot.
Incredible ice cream! The flavors are blissful, the texture just right and the home made waffle cones perfection. I love the corn flakes ice cream and the butterscotch.
On a hot day, I like to go to Mother Moo's. The ice cream flavors are unexpected, but come together deliciously. I love the grapefruit and Compari ice cream as well as the salted chocolate.
