Awesome People and Super Fast Service:
I have recently used Mountain Tire for repairs on 2 different vehicles. The first was my sons car that had broken down at the Quick Check. I had it towed to Mountain Tire that night, they were closed at the time and they had it fixed the next day. The prices were a lot cheaper then taking it to the dealer. The second vehicle was a 14yo van. These are hard to work on. The heating system stopped working. Took it to Mountain Tire and they discovered that water had leaked into the heater box and froze into a solid block of ice. It took them 2 days just to thaw the ice and remove the parts. The repair the heating system, rotated the tire, oil change and transmission service. The van was there a total of 3 days, I braced for the worst with regard to the bill. I though it had to be expensive given the time it took them to fix it. I WAS WRONG! I thought the prices was extremely fair and the service was great. Craig explained everything in detail and I will continue to use them for all of my cars. It's hard to find an honest, local garage that is fair with their prices. I've only found 1 recently - Mountain Tire in Jefferson, NJ

Beware, always get a second opinion....:
Took a while to decide whether to write this but others need to be aware of what things can cost them if they don't get second opinions. They matched tire price from another location but then upon installation told me my front struts seals were blown on my 2012 Acura. My car had 48000 miles so they assumed i was out of warranty (Acura 4yrs/50000mi), took it to the dealer who gave me a loaner and 2 hours later called to tell me nothing was wrong. I immediately returned and had them put it back on the lift and everything was bone dry, not a drop of oil from the struts on either side. If I had taken Mountain Tire's word on this and was out of warranty it would have cost around $800 to $1000 if they did the work. Many told me to confront them but its just better to just stop using them... Also, i brought my own oil and filter and they changed it for $25 which was a good deal but the owner told me they have the same oil and use NAPA filters. So next time i use their oil and filter and they charge me a 100 percent mark up on the oil, REALLY!!!! That happened just before the tire purchase.... Just saying that people can talk a real good game but at the same time can have every intention of ripping you off! I don't even have to sign this, just saying 2012 Acura TSX and they know who i am......... oh and have to add this too, when the car was up on the dealers lift i noticed that i was missing 3 screws to the skid plate that covers the oil filter and pan. Plus it wasn't even reinstalled properly. Had to order the screws because the dealer didn't stock them... just more of my time wasted by Mountain Tire!
