I've been there many time since I've moved to Penasquitos area. I don't think Mira Mesa area is that boring like others think. Mr. Wasabi is the best Japanese sushi bar restaurant in Mira Mesa. The owners, server, sushi chef were so friendly. The service is always quick and attentive. Every week, they always have chef's sushi special which is interesting to try. So far, I love Hawaiian Roll, Caterpilla Roll, Soyu Red Snapper and Calamari Salad. Oh, you will have to try salad dressing!! Don't forget their happy hours; lots of good deal on sushi, sake and Japanese beer.
