Most terrible company ever:
Went to buy a helmet and they do not have any. They said I can special order. I was told I can return as long as the item does not go out of store. I figure it is ok although my head is irregular and there is a high chance it may not fit. Was told it will arrive the next Wed (5 days later) and I will be called.
Never got any call. I called 10 days later. "By co-incident", it just arrived that very morning. Of course it does not fit. I want my money back. The incapable girl said "wait a minute". I waited more than 20 minutes and it turns out they are training a new girl on how to return. Another 10 Plus minutes later, they gave me a gift card. I said why gift card? I was told otherwise, I will get 25% restocking fee. I said ok. But when I see the gift card, it is clearly less than what I paid for. When I asked, the lady there told me that even for a store gift card, it is still 25% restocking fee.
After some useless debates (lies, incapable answers, etc), I was the owner will be around Friday. So I called Friday. No boss at all. When I explained, it seems the boss' wife was there. She quickly defended the restocking fee. When I mentioned the "no out of store, refund" thing, she said "she should not say it" (i.e. I am sorry, I will honor the incapable's girl's promise). She said the policy is "everywhere" (i.e., you should for every corner in our store to make sure how we screw you).
Anyway, long store short. I am sick of arguing with this fraudulent and incapable store. I am asking my credit card to defend my right. My last resort will be a small claim court. I know I will be wasting my time but I want to make sure no more consumers will be fall into this fraudulent operation.
