MOSI is a non-profit, community-based institution and educational resource that is dedicated to advancing public interest, knowledge and understanding of science, industry and technology. MOSI's core ideology is to make a difference in people's lives by making science real for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Conveniently located right around the corner are two of Florida's best theme parks, Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.

From time to time, MOSI opens its doors for free. Usually about once a month on a weekend day or holiday. Look for special listings.

Although this is a fun and stimulating scientific playground, at times exhibits don't work properly. When things are hitting on all cylinders, however, you learn about Florida weather, anatomy, flight, and space by seeing and by doing.
