Myers Heating & Cooling

On 1-23-13 my furnace stopped working called heating oil company they told me to call Myers Heating and Air in Mt. Holly. I Called set up for them to come out and look at it. Technician called me couple hours later and said the best way to fix it was to replace the whole unit. I told him that was not an option and to fix it to get back running so I could get some heat into the house, he told me no that there was 2-3 inches of oil in the bottom of the furnace and it would burn down my house. He left without doing anything except trying to again sell me a whole new furnace. When I got home I took the furnace completely apart and found that there had indeed NOT been 2-3 inches of oil in it, cleaned the whole thing put it back together and had heat (I am not in the hvac field at all). Besides the part of this man not wanting to do his job or trying to rip me off, was my medically fragile daughter and her nurse were up in her room with an electric heater while the rest of the house was 44 degrees and outside was 15 degrees and this skin covered piece of garbage knew that they were home and the situation.To top things off the lazy uncompassionate technician unplugged my freezer to plug in a light that was in the basement so that's a couple hundred dollars of wasted food.
