We couldn't have picked a better MC for our wedding reception than MC John. John Macalusois also was incredibly easy to work with as we planned our celebration. He listened to our suggestions and used our musical tastes to create a fantastic playlist that included some of our favorite songs. Afterwards, many of our friends and relatives complimented us on the music; we were happy to tell them it was all the work of John. But perhaps most importantly, John focused on the music during the celebration and didn't try to banter with the crowd. He didn't make dumb comments and come off like a lame, overexcited MC in the manner of some other wedding DJs. John only made the announcements we asked him to; otherwise, he let the music do the talking. And it resulted in an incredible evening we won't ever forget. Thanks John!!!

We hired John Macalusois with Mystical Entertainer for our wedding reception in 2012. I'll just start with saying that we'd definitely recommend him for any wedding or corporate event.

Aside from having a fantastic knowledge of music and a great style, he quickly picked up on the feel and tone we wanted when talking him through the event. The music during our event exceeded our expectations.

I'd also add that he is a real pleasure to work with, very personal and professional. If you're looking for an extremely talented resource for your event you really can't go wrong with John.

Can I just say "Wow?!!!" I have been hearing about John's events for a few months now and last night, I FINALLY was able to attend an event! This guy has the coolest, funkiest, most comfortable events I have seen in New Jersey in a looooooooong time. John is the nicest, most attentive host you could ever ask for! Thumbs up! Waaaaay up!
