Not good for a dog!:
I wouldn't take my dog to Dr. Urankar. When my brother was a resident at Cedarbrook NH he had been vomitting for weeks. I begged the staff to have him checked out, and nothing ever got done. One day Dr. Urankar was at the nurses station, and I approached her. I wish I could remember the EXACT quote, but it was something like.... we don't treat the..., we treat the.... In layman's terms.... WE WON'T BE PROACTIVE WE WILL BE REACTIVE. As such.... he had MRSA. With his vomitting, the fn staff at the NH neglected to advise the ambulance squad of it, and he vomitted on the ride, twice, twiced coded and ended up going to LVH vs. S. Heart as a trauma patient. As such he was trached and stom. tubed which resulted in 3 yrs. of an uneccessary feeding tube....and that's a whole 'nother story with Dr. Hulimzer at Good Shepherd. Had Dr. Urankar reacted much PRIOR to this, his life might not have been affected. SHAME ON YOU, DR. URANKAR!
