Its true until after the 5th visit you dont know how many times you will need to come in, usually. As it was explained to me it takes a few treatments for most peoples body to react to acupuncture. After you have had a few treatments you will be able to know how fast your body is reacting and how well it works for you. There was a package presented to me for my suggested treatment plan that was for a year and a few thousand dollars in which I would save a huge perent, which made treatments affordable for me, and chaper than my normal Dr. It was only because I needed long term care. This is NOT the case for most people. And there are options to pay as you go or to purchase a smaller package. They are only concerned with helping your body heal and trying to save you money, it is unfortunate that someone would implicate any other motive. I am very thankful to Dr. Nan for relieving me of chronic pain, and would recommend him to anyone.
