If I could give them a zero I would. I’m not sure I have ever written a a poor review publicly about a company before. I usually chalk up my poor experience to simple mistakes or mishaps. But this is different.
A few months ago, National Design Mart installed LVP flooring on our entire first floor of our new home. Then, to realize they installed the entire wrong floor all together. They had to rip it all up and redo it. Ok, mistakes happen, they fixed it.
Shortly there after, they installed our kitchen backsplash. Nearing the finish, my husband noticed that it was the wrong backsplash. They stopped, ripped it all off and said they would be back in five days to repair and reinstall the correct backsplash. That day came. No one called or showed up. Finally I got ahold of someone and they didn’t have all the pieces in stock so therefore, they cancelled the install. I was mad, my wall remained torn up. They sent someone out that day, after I complained, to install what backsplash pieces they had.
This morning, someone was to come over with the remaining pieces to finish the project. They showed up. They didn’t have enough pieces. They had to leave, leaving it unfinished yet again.
I asked that they do not return to finish it. I wanted to share the facts of our experience to assist others when choosing important, expensive decisions for their home. Using this company was a huge mistake.
