National Towing

Absolutely unscrupulous business practices. My car was stolen, and then later recovered by the Menlo Park Police department. They had it towed to an impound lot by National Towing at 10:30am, I arrived less than 4 hours later, after filing the appropriate paperwork with the police department, and was presented with a $360 charge for towing and storage! The towtruck driver who arrived to release the car had a very disputatious manner, and told me that I had no recourse. I was essentially treated as a criminal. I was the victim of a crime, and then was taken advantage of by this company to boot. If you have any choice in the matter.. DO NOT deal with this company. If you are unfortunate enough to be in a situation like mine.. DO NOT take this abuse lying down, file complaints with the police department and the Better Business Bureau, as I have.
