I found this place online and decided to call them when I was trying to find some steps for my new Chevy truck. When I called, someone answered the phone with something about a bar and grill. Wtf? So I asked a few questions and the guy started bumbling about getting someone to help me and abruptly put me on hold. The next guy was nice, and helped me figure out what I wanted and told me to come look at what they had in their sales room. I decided to try it so I headed up there and and this place is hard to find. Finally I got there, and got yelled at for parking in the wrong spot by some white haired hippie looking old f@!t. When i went inside i was surprised to see a guy standing halfway up a staircase belittling a larger employee in front of everybody, I almost left right then, but the guy who was getting yelled at came and offered me some help. He was nice and spent some time with me showing me what options they had for my rig. He showed me these really neat power steps and convinced me they were worth the money($1600 installed). I wanted to get them right then so he paged someone about putting them on. A few minutes later the hippie guy that yelled about my parking walks in with a younger female and starts griping about how they can't do it for at least a month and they would need my truck for a whole day! What? I am spending this kind of money with you to get yelled at and told they can't help me? No way! They just kept arguing with me and the sales associate so I took my business elsewhere. I got the same parts same day down the road 600 bucks cheaper and they only took about an hour to install. I think Nelson truck equipment in Kent is a total rip off! They are not nice to employees or customers and that just doesn't fly these days in this economy. Bad experience, BAD BAD BAD!!! I will never go back and you shouldn't either. STAY AWAY!
