New Jersey State Museum

The New Jersey State Museum contains exhibits from such diverse catagories as natural history, cultural history, archaeology/ethnology, and fine art. Active participation is encouraged through hands-on workshops, gallery walks, planetarium sky shows, and demonstrations. Annual special events and programs for chldren are also held. Closed Mondays and all state holidays.

The State Museum features collections, exhibitions and programs in archaeology, ethnography, cultural history, fine art and natural history. The Museum also has the largest planetarium between New York and Philadelphia, featuring a state-of-the-art, full dome video digital system.
