This is an absolute c@!p hole of a recovery center. Four grown men to a VERY small room(two bunk beds per room)They are funded mostly by Prop clients that the state sends them, and they don't give a damn about anyone. Just the money they take in. They also have a set of " apartments" and a 3/4 house. As bad as the victory house is, the apartments are a totally abismal place to live. Carpets that are more dirt than fabric. And the 3/4 house is so far beyond slum lord living, it is atrocious. Rats the size of chiuahas, holes in the walls,roofs that leak, floors that flood, carpets at least 30 years old, and kitchen floors that are torn to pieces. And they raise the rent on a VERY regular basis with NEVER an improvment in living conditions. Just another raise in rent. The only plus to the 3/4 house is the almost daily poker game they run there. But don't expect to get in to the poker game cheap. It is usually $50 worth of chips to get in. All you have to do is ask one of the senior counselors (Johnny Miller) to get invited to the poker game.
