Don't Trust Their "Layaway" Plan!:
These People Are Shifty, Listen To This...
I went to this store and saw this SWEET 17" laptop, and put it on layaway. I played with it, checked it out, it was working fine. I put a little money here, and there, then got the rest together from my big paycheck and was like "FINALLY!', it would now be mine.
Don't you know, the laptop was taken elsewhere and they "claimed" something was wrong with it and they sent it back to the company, and I wouldn't get it for another week! My number was on my ticket, what about a call? Many people, I noticed, were looking at it and I lucked out because the guy put money on it, then switched to something else, now this happened.
I hope, (heard of things happening like this) they they didn't sell it to someone else and were waiting for their supplier to have another one for me before I noticed.
They begged "hey, we were looking out for you, wanting to make sure it was ok before you bought it, plus we thought it would be awhile before you had the full cash, didn't expect you to pay it off quickly". Hmmmm.
Sounded very fishy, so I got my money back and today won a bid on the same laptop on Ebay, got it cheaper.
Will NEVER do business with them again. Who takes your layaway item out of layaway and sends it to who-knows-where and doesn't bother to tell you?
