The Newton Fire Museum was established in 1986 as a way for the Newton Fire Department to preserve and share it's rich history and educate the public on the history of the fire service. The Newton Fire Museum is located in the historic Spring Street firehouse, built in 1891. Our collection includes fascinating firefighting equipment dating back to the days when horses were used to pull the fire apparatus.
