Do not use this company:
This company is the MOST unprofessional and unreliable company.

I had my car shipped from New York to Florida in August 2009. At first, Arlene and Allen were very helpful, as they were trying to get me to put a $175 deductible on my car. After I told them this was my first time shipping a car, they assured me that my car would be safe and delivered to me in proper condition and in a timely manner. They explained that they were a third party, and were going to post an ad for my car to trucking companies, which they had checked out and used regularly. After my experience with Nicki's Transport, I am very skeptical that they know what trucking companies they are even dealing with or understand what a background check is.

When I got my car, the day after I agreed with the driver I would receive it, my car arrived with $6,000 in damage. Interestingly enough, there was also an extra 237 miles on my vehicle. The driver was also impossible to get in touch with, as his phone number was "temporarily available" throughout that day. I could not reach the driver at all the day he was supposed to drop the car off. After playing operator for hours, I finally tracked him down on a different phone number (how convenient- the driver with my car and all my belongings inside has a new phone number.) As a rational customer, I said I would not pay the cash on delivery I agreed to pay the driver when my car finally arrived in awful condition. I said once I got my car back in proper condition I would pay. The driver's insurance company was a joke to deal with, just as the driver was. It took several months for me to get the deductible back that I had to pay so MY insurance company could fix my car. No thanks to Nicki's Transport though. I had to play detective and call the impossible driver's brainless insurance company on a daily basis to move things along. This may have taken less time if the insurance company or myself were able to get in touch with the driver- at this point he disappeared off the face of the planet and Nicki's Transport had no idea where he could be located. The truck driver's "company" ( I will use that term loosely) since no one answers the phones- regardless of what number you call them from was useless in the matter. Great background check Nicki's Transport!

Nicki's Transport completely separated themselves from the incident, telling me that "this has never happened before." They were sympathetic at first, until I asked them to be liable for the remaining portion of my deductible that I had to lay out (subtracting the COD I owed the driver for turning my car into scrap metal).

I would discourage everyone from using this company. Especially if you would prefer to get your car back in drive-able condition. Nicki's Transport works through verbal contracts and expects people to trust that the job will be done. However, in this instance, that was not the case. This company is sketchy and takes no responsibility for their participation damaging my car.

They did however provide me with a few things:
Frustration and headaches
Many conversations with incompetent people

Nicki's Transport has played the blame game, trying to pass the buck and exclude themselves from being involved. Yes, I understand that this company did physically ship my car, but they hired out the job to an untrustworthy company that took destroyed the vehicle they were given responsibility over. On top of that, drove the car over 200 miles and tried to stage the damage as being rear-ended by another car on the highway.

Nicki's transport says that they go through extensive checks of the trucking companies they use. If this is the case, Nicki's transport either neglected to check this company or are too incompetent to select reliable trucking companies to work with.
