Bensonhurst by way of Nob Hill. Comfortable neighborhood classic with endless bowls of spaghetti alla carbonara, gnocchi bolognese, lasagna, and some garlic bread to bring it all home. Split personality to suit your mood: half bustling bistro, half calm oasis. Lots of single tables so you don't feel odd man out alone. Best place in the city to spot the San Francisco Twins, Marian and Vivian.
