I couldn't be happier with the doctors or staff! The wait times are short, doctors and PA's are friendly and caring and genuinely concerned. The nurses are really good at giving shots too which I know is a tough thing to do to children all day long. Just stellar and overall very pleased every time I step foot into the building!

I always have a habit of reading other reviews before posting my own and try not to review after a "first date" so to speak. Clean office, friendly staff, very accommodating and flexible, and very experienced and knowledgable! First is that I have been bringing my kid to this office for years. The place has pretty much a whole new staff, has recently been renovated and freshened up, and I have had consistently pleasant experiences for the past three years plus! Dr. Toland is the owner ( one of few independent offices in the area, no big coporate monster here ) and he is a very thorough, intelligent, caring doctor! I read the other review about how he said you're kid was fat and couldn't stop laughing, because I just can't see him saying that, he's too old school. You shouldn't be offended, you should be concerned that your kid is overweight! Last time I checked I didn't need a doctor to tell me how to lose weight. STOP eating junk food, fast food, cut out soft drinks, limit portions, and exercise you moron!! ( I bet you're the type to sue Burger King because they made you fat.) Just plain dumb.

Anyhow, yes the doctors are honest, isn't that what we want?! Caring and honest doctors who see a patient and not a number?! I know I do!! I have received calls over the weekend before to have lab results relayed to me! That alone is above and beyond what other offices will do, in any field! Some people can't handle the truth and write a bad review. Me? I want the honest truth with a side of sarcasm because my children are worth it! Dr. Toland has been a pediatrician for like almost forty years, the man has experience and knowledge most of us can barely fathom! I consider myself an intelligent shopper and always do my homework and I wouldn't trust my kids to go anywhere else!

After a couple months of dwelling on this I have decided to write a review about North Shore Pediatrics. While I will NEVER return I would like to point out a positive thing about this office. They have a nurse there and her name is Veronica and she is always very nice and very attentive to our needs and we appreciate it very much. However I was there in March and there is a horrible lady up front that has a vulgar mouth and just seems very trashy and her name is Kat. While sitting in the waiting room I heard her talking about sex and curse words were just flying out of her mouth left and right and it was just down right unprofessional. There are small children in your doctor’s office and you all let this happen?? I can only imagine how horrible management must be!! Unfortunately this is not the first time I have heard inappropriate things as I have walked past the front desk, but it is the last time me or my child will ever have to listen to it! Last but not least Dr. Toland is a great Doctor but some of his staff is very questionable. I will never come back to this doctor’s office every again.
