NTB - National Tire & Battery

Ntb National Tire Battery is located at 4631 Highway 280 in Birmingham and has been in the business of Retail - Automotive Tires since 2010.

I had purchased my tires from NTB Hwy 280, they had been rotating, balancing, and aligning my tires. I had a vibration for the past few days, took my car to NTB Hwy 280, asked for inspection, rotation, balance, and alignment. They charged me $179.99 plus tax. When I left I still had to vibration. Took my car to Robe Mann in Homewood. They called me to inform me 2 of my tires had the steel band showing! The car was out of alignment! NTB Hwy 280 had obviously not touched my tires. Why would a tire store not see steel bands on tire and not try to sell me new tires? Because they never looked at my tires!

They also told me the plugs on my oil pan was stripped and they would have to replace the oil pan ($500+). Robe Mann rethreaded the plugs and changed my oil for $55.

NTB Hwy 280 refunded the $179 + tax without question, which indicated to me they knew they had not serviced my car and earned the money.

Avoid NTB Hwy 280, unless you just like pay a business to do nothng.
