Absolutely Terrible.:
This company provides the absolute worst service I’ve experienced. I had them install 4 new tires which I ordered from Tire Rack, and check my rear brakes which were squeaking. Cory, the manager, contacted me shortly after I dropped off my vehicle and quoted me a highly inflated price on the brakes, significantly above a quote from the dealership. Since my vehicle was already there I agreed for them to fix them after I was able to talk them down 27% from their original quote….. Supposedly for the same “top end” replacement brakes and rotors. It’s been a couple of months and the rotors are completely rusted. I actually had my front rotors replaced by the dealership two months before NTB replaced my rear rotors and my front rotors are in fantastic shape with no rust. Apparently the “top end” rotors NTB said they were installing weren’t near the quality the dealership installed for cheaper. Cory then informed that I would need to have two TPMS sensors replaced for $115/each. A stem was broken on one of them, so it’s understandable it needed to be replaced. However, he said the other was damaged as well although I had never had an issue with the valve and it worked properly until they deflated my old tires to remove them apparently. They provided me with both sensors they replaced and the other sensor that “needed to be replaced because of corrosion” doesn’t have a speck of corrosion on it from what I can tell. I’ve kept it and will have the dealership look at it on my next visit. When I went to pick up my vehicle, it was in the parking lot in front of the store and both drivers’ side tires were flat. Irritated I had just paid them a significant amount of money and the brand new tires they just installed were flat, I walked back into the store to talk to Cory. He pulled the vehicle into the shop and reinstalled the valve stems (the two he replaced). This would be his 2nd of what would eventually be 5 attempts to install the correct value seals. I left with my vehicle and over the weekend I noticed air was slowly leaking from a couple of the tires (I have an onboard tire pressure system). I also noticed that weekend that I was getting an error on my dash that read “Service Tire Pressure System” and the tire locations on my onboard system weren’t the correct tire position on my vehicle. In other words, my onboard tire pressure monitoring system was no longer working since NTB and Cory worked on my vehicle. It computer system was showing a tire that was on my front drive side, was actually on my read drivers side. Over the next couple of weeks I took my vehicle into NTB because the valves were still slowly leaking and I was still receiving the “Service Tire Pressure System” error. Finally on my 5th attempt Cory was gone and a gentlemen name Jason I believe said that they had been using the incorrect valve seals all along (apparently the 5th time is the charm) and he replaced them. He was correct, the 5th set of valve seals they installed successfully sealed the valves and they no longer leaked. However, I was still receiving the “Service Tire Pressure System” error that they assured me (5 times now) would correct when my vehicle was driven on the highway for 10 minutes @ > 15 mph. Unfortunately, it’s been several months and whatever damage they did to my tire pressure monitor system was permanent as it still does not work. I thought it was better to have them stay away from my vehicle rather than attempt to repair it and cause more damage.
Another note, about a month after my last visit my boss took his Acura to the same location to have a battery replaced. They told him he also needed to replace his struts. He elected not to have the work done at NTB and took his Acura to the dealership to have the struts examined. The dealership informed him that there was no reason to replace the struts, they were in great shape.
I advise you, please do not do not visit this location and let the manger Cory work on your vehicle. It has been the worst experience I have had concerning auto maintenance of any kind. I have decided to have any future work performed by the dealership. It is my experience after dealing with NTB and Cory they use much higher quality parts, are much more knowledgeable, don’t damage your vehicle as NTB has, and the price is comparable. Actually the dealership would have been much cheaper if I didn't talk Cory off his first quote 27%. Absolutely horrendous service.
