I went to Nu Image Salon & Spa because I knew the owner from her previous salon & she had done a wonderful job on my hair in the past. The first year wasn't too bad. She had grew my hair back out down to my shoulders after I had experienced very bad breakage from highlights & color by another salon I’d been going to. Once my hair started taking off getting healthier the owner convinced me to get highlights again. I was a little leery because of my bad experience from the first time I had gotten highlights…well I gave it another try after she went on bragging about how color was her specialty…yadda…yadda…yadda. I started off with simple highlights and everything was good. After rocking that style the owner convinced me to get multidimensional highlights. It looked really good and I always got compliments. I would go in every week to get my hair done & treated for my color….or at least I thought that’s what I was getting done. After a few months my hair started looking dry and that’s when the breakage started. She tried to play it off and suggest I try a new style and get my hair cut short. I was spending $40-65 a week plus $10+ in tips thinking she had been taking care of my hair but instead she was being greedy and not treating my hair like I thought she was. Not only that, but the staff was sooo unprofessional. They would talk about clients behind their back even when they were actually their sitting in the waiting room. I figured if they were talking about the other clients then I know they were probably talk about me. The staff thought they were the best salon in Louisville and no one else was better. WRONG!!!! This salon needs a Tabatha’s Salon Makeover!!!! Seriously though!! If they straightened out their attitudes and weren’t so greedy off of customers they felt they could get over on then I would say that they are one of the best in Louisville.
