Vacation Bible School at The Oask At San Jose:
The air conditioners here are from the stone age. Mine broke multiple, multiple times, and when it did work was incredibly in-efficient, generating large utility bills in return for relatively little cooling. Only recently was I able to afford and install a window unit, which I shouldn't have had to do if their central AC was functioning properly. I have lived here 3 and a 1/2 years, and the majority of that time the pool has been closed, one summer being allowed to degenerate into turtle pond, while at another time being left for a while as an empty concrete hole in the ground. For those of you who have had negative things to say about Kami, I assure you current management is far worse, and even downright callous. I was given the run-around about re-signing my lease, which I wanted to do because I forgive a lot for the area which I like. Only when I objected to a vacation bible school of sorts being set up outside my window, with the apparent blessing of the property manager, I was told by a woman from corporate via e-mail, that I could not renew here. I have never encountered a staff so incompetent and belligerent as that which now exists at this place. Like other reviewers have state you will think it's a great deal when you first move in but that changes over time. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Slum lords awful people:
These people are SLUM LORDS! They don't do anything to fix problems, they are apathetic. One of their maintanace staff stole our Jeep, found the signed title in the vehicle, and transferred it into his baby momma's name before we were able to stop it. When we notified the property management they said they didn't care, it wasn't their concern. So this man is able to come and go in and out of our building and has access to our apartment 6 days a week, and drives the jeep up and down our street like it's cute. When we started warning people the management threatened to evict us for breach of lease. In addition to all of this when we moved in the kitchen was infested with roaches, they never cleaned it. Roach feces were painted onto the bottom of the drawers and cabinets. Our fridge was full of roaches and filthy so we begged them to remove it. Two weeks later they finally did. Then they left us without a fridge for weeks before replacing it. We've had mushrooms grow out of our walls, black mold growing in the bathrooms, fleas are RAMPANT because of all the stray cats. Windows won't close, our electric bill is over $260 a month in a 2 bedroom. Our AC had to break 5 times before they replaced it. The new one caused our elec. bill to sky rocket! At one point they remodeled the laundry facility below us without warning. For two weeks straight the building shook and things fell off my walls, my dogs were freaked out, and worst of all they would shut the water off without warning. The noise kept me up every morning. This was after 6 months of the laundry room being unusable, which is sad because its the only one on site. These people are apathetic scum who care less about their tenants and more about making money. WHATEVER YOU DO DONT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! DEL Properties are their parent company, and they are even worse. They've been reported to the BBB many times, but they refuse to change
