Double Billing: Check Your Statements!:
If you use a credit or debit card at Office Depot in Pearl, check your statement for DOUBLE BILLING.
Their copy machines are self-service: you swipe your card & print your own job. The final page prints "take this to a cashier." Cashier swipes your card, but guess what?!
My banks statement showed I was charged twice! I took it & a printed receipt (the cashier didn't give me a check-out receipt) to the Manager. But he assured me that "No, it's impossible to charge you twice if the machine printed that statement." He assured me that I MUST have gone to Office Depot that week to buy something else. (Both charges were for slightly different amounts.)
I returned home and checked my Office Depot Rewards account and found proof that both charges were the SAME 42 documents. I returned & got a refund, and the manager didn't seem surprised. I'm sure LOTS of people are being charged twice AND lied to.
