Sunday is "Funday" thanks to late-night drag shows.
The four-sided bar keeps the well drinks always within reach. That comes in handy when ogling over the pecs of contestants in the Student Body Strip-Off. Or the countless flat screens. Or the Dame Edna lookalikes. This is "the place to be." Emphasis on "be." As in you can stop in with your straight friend. C'mon, who doesn't fancy a look-see at the talent on the other side of the fence?
Its name notwithstanding -- it's known locally as the Can -- this slick Warehouse District bar attracts a clean-cut, upscale, mostly male crowd. Consistently voted Austin's Best Gay Club by readers of the Austin Chronicle, this is the place to go if you're looking for a buttoned-down, Brooks Brothers kind of guy. There's dancing, but not with the same frenzy as at many of the other clubs.
