This place reminds us of a rooming house -- it used to be a Catholic girls' school -- though the generously sized rooms (especially no. 3), with four-poster beds and pretty quilts, are quite a bit nicer than boarding school accommodations. They're appealing but not lavish; nor are the rates. Its porch sits practically underneath the Evangeline Oak and it's right next to the town square....
