This chain restaurant brings a mass-market version of Italian cuisine to the public. The décor of stucco walls, beamed ceilings and terra-cotta floors is formulaic, but still pleasant. Indeed, the atmosphere gives a feeling of abundance and good cheer. The wines are low priced, and while many of the dishes may not be our idea of traditional antipasti, the public keeps coming for fried offerings...
