Very good but not exceptional:
Always nice and consistent. Late brunch hour not too crowded. Got the seafood crepes and it was divine! The waitstaff was very accommodating and helpful.

Ouisie's Table Restaurant Review:
Proprietor-chef Elouise Adams Jones (“Ouisie”) welcomes guests to her rustic-yet-chic New England-style digs on San Felipe as if it was her personal home. Her patio is the most beautiful perch in town and her garden room is decked out with banquettes for lounging in romantic Laura Ashley-type fabrics. It's definitely one of the poshest breakfast spots in town, serving eggs Benedict and crêpes...

At Elouise "Ouisie" Adams Jones's casually elegant, ersatz preppy restaurant, American cuisine is prepared with eclectic, Southern accents. Dine in the main room, or request a table on adjoining Lucy's Porch for a view of the herb plantings snipped daily by the kitchen staff. Fine dinner choices include a brace of roasted quail with apple-smoked bacon, and a shrimp curry with lemon-ginger rice....

Ouisie's Table has a place for the Stepford Wives willing to pay $18 for a salad and those of us who love a hearty Chicken Fried Steak. There's comfortable and intimate seating on the porch and in the garden, and even a spot for man's best friend at the bar. Southern hospitality is the servers' theme and you'll be taken care of like a southern belle.

Information from the business

Born of the Southern tradition of casual elegance and great food and drink, Proprietress and Executive Chef Elouise Adams Jones, a.k.a. Ouisie, draws inspiration from the regional cuisines of Texas, Louisiana and the South including south of the border. Her menu reflects her born-in-Texas palate, her love of the Gulf Coast and its aquatic gifts and her grandmother's elegant Louisiana cooking.
