Overhead Door Company of Blair County, Inc. was established in 1987 in Duncansville, Pa. Dex W. Meadows, current president and founder of the company established the company after discussing with local contractors what need they had in their industry that needed filled. They unanimously requested a garage door company, thus the beginnings of Overhead Door Company Blair County, Inc. ODC Blair currently services approximately six counties in the surrounding area. The company services contractors, industrial companies and individual residents in these areas not only with new doors and dock equipment but with service that has a reputation as none other in these areas. Dex currently employs seven employees who have a combined work experience of over 75 years. The senior technician alone has over 35 years experience. Dex has always felt that one of the keys to his success was to surround himself with good people, delegate responsibility to them, then get out of the way and let them do their jobs. He has always tried to adopt this philosophy and found out that it does work. He feels that he has been blessed with some outstanding employees, people who have stayed with him through the bad times as well as the good. They are Overhead Door Company of Blair County, Inc.
